Our operation

In order to best respect your child, as well as  of  make life easier for you parents,  we wanted to make our nurseries establishments in which respect and life together are the key words!

Feather to a functioning which respects the  the rhythm of your children

1

Typical Day

Here is an example of a typical day. This is of course  benchmarks given as an indication and not of an imposed schedule. We make sure to respect the rhythm of each child, his emotions and his needs:  no activity is imposed!

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Quiet time, "hello" ritual, song and story

11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The modalities of  life at the crèche and the daily reception conditions for children are  detailed in the establishment regulations which are given to you on the first day:

  • We provide you with diapers, milk, lunch and snacks for your children. An empty bottle can be provided by the family at the nursery for the little ones, so as not to disturb the habits of the house.

  • In case of special skin care, bring us the necessary (with the corresponding medical prescription) and we will take care of it!

  •   We also let you provide us with the spare linen adapted and necessary to the needs of your child, as well as what is necessary for the nap.  (sleeping bag ...).  Do not forget to mark the child's name on all his belongings, this will avoid unfortunate exchanges of clothes.

  •   Your child will need a transitional object (blanket) that will allow him to make the smooth link between the house and the nursery.

  •   Finally, when you arrive in the morning, we are at your disposal to know all the new things to know since the day before: sleep, care, happy or unhappy event, mood of the day, etc. as well as the identity of the person who comes to pick him up in the evening.

3

The adaptation period

A gradual and compulsory adaptation period precedes the final integration of your child into the crèche. This will allow him to familiarize himself, gently, with his new environment and to slowly create a bond of trust with one of the nursery professionals.

We will determine the terms of this integration on a case-by-case basis with you, but a six-hour integration period will be systematically offered to you.

Of course, we know that you have busy schedules, we will adapt the reception schedule to adapt to your constraints and allow this period of adaptation to be carried out under the best conditions.

4

Your child's health

In the interest of your child, any health problem, however slight, should be reported in the morning upon arrival. The person in charge of the establishment or the technical referent will see with you whether you have to send your child away.  depending on the signs of illness that he presents.

The reception of the sick child is done or not according to several criteria:

  • its general condition with regard to the community,

  • the therapeutic management and the monitoring that it requires,

  • the risk of contagion compared to other children.

Depending on these criteria, it is the person in charge of the establishment (or the technical advisor) who will make the decision whether or not to welcome your child.

Certain diseases require compulsory eviction (according to the list drawn up by the ARS): bacterial angina, whooping cough, hepatitis A, impetigo depending on the lesions, mumps, measles, scarlet fever, tuberculosis, etc.

In the event of illness occurring during the day and depending on the situation, the parents may be invited to pick up the child.

5

Children with disabilities or chronic illness

If your child has a disability or is suffering from a chronic disease, an Individualized Reception Project (PAI) can be carried out after consultation with the nursery doctor and the person in charge of the structure.

This situation requires special attention, so it is  by creating a real  partnership with you that your child will be welcomed with his specific needs by the whole team.

After the age of three, an additional year of maintenance in the establishment may be requested, with the agreement of the nursery doctor and  from the PMI doctor

We are also counting on you!

6

It is fundamental  that a close collaboration be established between you parents and the supervisory professionals,  in order to build around your child  a climate of trust conducive to its development.

After admission, you have three key moments to share with the teams  :

  1. During the familiarization period of about a week, allowing your child to  to appropriate  the places, to get to know the staff, and to you parents to communicate on the habits and the peculiarities of your child.

  2. During daily discussions with the management team  on arrival and departure of your child.

  3. During quarterly parent / supervisor meetings to take stock of the progress of the educational project, the various activities underway and promote a discussion around your wishes and suggestions.
